Welcome to the Center of Excellence!
True Purpose Family Outreach is excited to launch our new Center of Excellence (CoE) to address several growing needs in our community. Our goal is to come alongside families to help them thrive in our “new normal." To achieve this, we are offering our first 3 foundational services of CoE, with more to come!
Academic
Testing
The CoE staff is credentialed to administer the Woodcock-Johnson IV assessment to assist parents, teachers, and tutors in identifying areas of support needed for students in grades 1-12. The WJ IV assesses students in nine core areas of reading, writing, and arithmetic. Testing fees start at $90, with add-on options available for an additional cost.
Academic Enrichment
CoE provides academic enrichment to students in grades K-12 through our homeschool cooperative and academic tutoring clubs. Students are administered the WJ IV assessment as a part of the intake process and results are used to tailor our lesson plans with a goal to meet each students' individual academic needs.
Royal Lions
Clubs
CoE offers a variety of enrichment classes and activities through our "Royal Lions" clubs. With a special emphasis on spiritual, physical, and character development so students learn how to live healthy, well-balanced lives. Field trips and outreach activities are also included to aid in the development of students' servant-leadership skills.
