GREETINGS!

     LaVett Carter is the Founder and Lead Spiritual Advisor of True Purpose Family Outreach (TPFO). She has a passion for advancing the Kingdom of God through the mission of TPFO. 

     LaVett has Master's degrees in Public Administration and Education and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Education from Regent University.  She spent over 15 years working in nonprofit management before transitioning to the field of education full-time.  This transition came on the heels of a traumatic, postpartum episode, which left her facing false legal charges. However, because of God’s grace, she was vindicated and now uses her testimony to educate and empower others in the areas of inner healing, forgiveness, and trusting the Father to give His children “beauty for ashes.”

     LaVett has a diverse teaching, administration, and ministry background, including experience homeschooling her own children, working in public and private schools, and serving as a parent coach with the National Center for Biblical Parenting. She loves teaching, mentoring, and coaching others so they can live out their True Purpose for Christ!  

     LaVett is excited about serving families through the many facets of TPFO in Mississippi, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
